Cruises on gigantic ships may become a thing of the past in some parts of Europe. A group called European Waterways has major plans to refurbish some of their hold hotel barges, hoping to get them in the water later this year.
The upgrades to the barges include upgrades to the heating and cooling systems, new soundproofing materials, and plumbing. The small boats only take 12 passengers and the organization expects them to become incredibly popular over the next few months.

And just as you cannot play the drums with a harp nor the guitar with a saxophone, so to you cannot expect to achieve desired noise reduction effects by continuing to stuff your walls with insulation and egg cartons. Proper materials include high quality damping compounds and high quality resilient Sound Clips. So choose wisely and see the difference. Don’t forget that you must include all frequency sounds when considering your project, therefore leaving out any steps might prove costly when differnt octaves start invading your privacy. Especially in Sweden!
